3 reasons why you're not losing weight!
These reasons are based around a majority of people, issues & barriers that seem to occur in everyday life.
1 - You're not in a calorie deficit!
-> In order to lose weight, it's a must that you're in a calorie deficit
Amongst all other things, this is the upmost important & fundamental thing that will aid weight loss.
Tracking calories is the best way to ensure you're in a calorie deficit, using free apps such as Chronometer or MyFitnessPal.
But First you need to set a deficit, Keep a food diary for the next 7 days, calculate your calories from that & eat a little less next week...
Go to this link -> https://www.bodybuilding.com/fun/bmr_calculator.htm and find your BMR (basel metabolic rate) meaning your maintenance calories, factor in exercise by using an online calculator and set a deficit based around 5-20% of your calorie total.
Stick to this number, be consistent & work hard.
2 - You're not training hard enough.
-> You think 10-15 minutes on a treadmill is enough to counter a terrible diet.
Get out of your comfort zone & work harder, sweat more & get results.
Base your workouts around resistance & cardio so that you factor in weight loss with fitness & health. This way, you mix up your training & don't get bored.
This will also benefit your body shape and will help you tone your body (catered with good nutritional diet!)
P.s Ladies, lifting weights will NOT make you big and bulky!
3 - You're Not Consistent!
-> "I'll stick to the diet this week but on Saturday i'm going for pizza, wine & junk food!"
Don't let the weekends spoil your week of hard work & graft.
Just because you've stuck to your diet from Monday to Friday doesn't mean you're done.
