How Much Carbs, Fat & Protein For Fatloss?

I checked my inbox on instagram this morning to a message that

went along the lines of 

"How Much Protein, Fats & Carbs do i need to burn fat? & lose weight?"

-

So i thought id share my opinion on this...

Macronutrient ratios aren't really important to follow whilst looking to lose weight.

What is important however, is to track your calories, because ultimately, thats what 

macros are. They're calorie amounts.

Remember, 9kcal per gram of fat, 4kcal per gram of carbs & 4kcal per gram of protein.

The reason Personal Trainers give people amounts to hit on a daily basis is because its

another way of tracking calories & also gives the client a challenge to work towards and 

have an understanding of.

When dieting, protein intake should always be the leading force.

-

When it comes to cabrs & Fats, it doesnt really matter.

-

They equate to calorie amounts!

-

If you want to lead a high fat diet, thats fine, aslong as it hits your calorie total 

& is sustainable to you.

If you want to lead a high carb diet, thats fine, aslong as it hits your calorie total

& is sustainable to you.

-

High carb / High Fat will NOT make you fat, A calorie Surplus will!
